What can I take to the test?

You will need to take a printout of your Admission ticket, appropriate photo identification document (ID), pens or pencils. Bottled water is also permitted. Please read the information on the Permitted testing aids page.

How long is the test?

You have 2 hours to complete the test, including reading time. You should anticipate being at the test centre for at least 4 hours for all testing procedures to be completed. For remote proctoring, candidates should allow up to 3 hours or more (in the event of technical issues) for their test session.

What identification do I bring on the test day?

On the test day you will be required to show one form of photo-bearing identification. The only acceptable forms of identification are:

  • Current passport
  • Current photo-bearing driver licence (learner permit, probationary or full licence)
  • Current photo-bearing Australian Keypass
  • Current photo-bearing Australian Proof of Age Card/NSW Photo Card from Service NSW
  • Current photo-bearing New Zealand Kiwi Access Card (18+ card)

You will not be able to enter the test centre/sit the test by remote proctoring without an approved form of identificationNo other form of identification will be accepted.
